A Taste of Japan: Sushi-Making & Sake Night

Presented by the Livingston Arts Council and the Livingston Diversity Council

This is a new series celebrating the rich traditions, flavors, and stories behind the cultures featured at Cultura. This exciting first event invites you to connect more deeply with Japanese culture through the art of sushi and the tradition of sake.

Learn how to craft your authentic sushi rolls under the expert guidance of Sushi Chef Dawt Rem. You’ll prepare and enjoy two delicious rolls:

• A Veggie Roll

• A Crispy Crab Roll (made with imitation crab)

  Pair your creations with a glass of sake while you explore the cultural roots and history in a warm, welcoming setting. Please bring a knife with you for this event.
