Each Tuesday, a live model, usually nude or mostly nude, moves through a series of timed poses, from quick gestures to longer holds. This rhythm helps artists explore proportion, movement, anatomy, and expressive line work in a supportive, skill-building setting.
Artists of all experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own supplies; tables and chairs are provided.
Participants must be 18 or older due to the nature of the session.
A $10 fee is collected upon arrival.

We are always looking for reliable, professional figure models to join our Open Studio rotation. No prior experience is required—just comfort posing nude or mostly nude and the ability to hold both short and extended poses.

Able to hold a variety of poses
Reliable and punctual
Compensation:
Models are paid $60 per session.
If the session does not generate enough attendance to meet the $60 minimum, the model will receive 50% of the total door fees collected.

Once again, the 70s cult film classic returns to the Howell Opera House! Dressing up as a favorite character is encouraged for the costume contest, but not required. Doors open at 8 pm, and the show begins at 9 pm There will be a cash bar and light concessions available for purchase.
Rated R - under 17 requires an accompanying parent or adult guardian.
The ticket price is $25, which includes admission for one and a participation bag.

Prepare to be transported to different worlds through the power of the spoken word. This inaugural season promises evenings filled with laughter, wonder, and profound human connection, all within the beautifully intimate setting of the Howell Opera House.
This exciting new series will feature the talents of acclaimed storytellers from across the United States, each bringing their unique style and captivating narratives to the Howell stage. The audience can look forward to a diverse range of stories, all delivered with exceptional skill and artistry.
The series will take place on select weekday evenings at 7:00 pm

Individual tickets are $15. Online ticket sales will close at 3:00 PM on Wednesday. If tickets remain, they will be available for purchase at the door.
