Cultura 2026 Cultural Vendor Invitation

The Livingston Arts Council and the Livingston Diversity Council invite vendors to participate in the 4th Annual Cultura, taking place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in downtown Howell, Michigan.

Launched in 2023, Cultura is an annual celebration of music, art, food, and the many cultures that enrich our community. Held each year on the last Saturday in September, this free, family-friendly event brings together people of all backgrounds to experience culturally significant visual art, spoken words, music, dance, and cuisine.

Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy performances on two stages, explore artwork displayed inside the Historic Howell Opera House, and sample delicious offerings from local food vendors. Every aspect of Cultura is designed to inspire curiosity, foster understanding, and celebrate the diversity that makes our community stronger.

We are currently seeking vendors to line Walnut Street during the festival. We especially encourage artisans, makers, and small businesses whose products celebrate, reflect, or are inspired by cultural traditions, heritage, or global influences. However, all unique, handcrafted, artistic, and specialty vendors are welcome to apply. Our goal is to create a vibrant marketplace that complements the spirit of the event while offering attendees a diverse and engaging shopping experience.

  • Vendor Setup: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • Event Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Vendor Fee: $100

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.
